Responsibility and Liability Our tours are designed with regard to the average person athletic preparation and respect of the highest standards of safety. Even so activities such as hiking and the use of a bicycle are potentially hazardous. When you book with us you are required to be fully aware of the following conditions in terms of responsibility, liability and behavior.
Every participant will assume all the risks associated with the tour, including the effects of weather and the conditions of the road/trails; every participant is expected and required to behave with courtesy and common sense, to consume food and beverages with moderation, to approach water (such as in pools and the sea) with caution.
NaturalItaly is not liable for bodily injury or damages to properties that may occur to you as a result of but not limited to: physical exertion for which you are not prepared; forces of nature; travel by train, boat, auto, bicycle, foot or any other conveyance; consumption of alcoholic beverages; breakdown of equipment; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations; the adequacy of medical attention once provided. The participant, their estates and their heirs waive any claims against NaturalItaly, its owners and employees.
Weather conditions We constantly keep an eye on weather forecasts and try to spot heavy rain or other adverse atmospheric conditions. We will run the tour with any other weather condition. When appropriate, bring rain proof and warm clothing with you. Only short term weather assessments are more reliable, hence we may still cancel hikes, rides or any other activities for the day.
Our Lingo “Tours” will generally not involve intense physical activity, still requiring walking within urban settings during sightseeing. “Excursions” will involve physical activity such as hiking or biking along dirt roads and pathways, sometime including slight to medium inclines.
Deposit, cancellation and refunds
- Single day tours, excursions or activities-
No deposit is required to reserve, you just pay for the tour. To cancel you must notify us by email (info@naturalitaly.it) with at least 7 days notice and you will be 100% refunded. If you fail to do so you won't be refunded. If we don't reach the minimum amount of participants required to activate the tour within 24 hours from departure, you will be 100% refunded. We will process your refund immediately thereafter. We may cancel in case of heavy rain or other adverse atmospheric conditions with at least 24 hours advance. In this case you will be 100% refunded. Once the tour leaves the meeting point and heavy rain or other adverse atmospheric conditions occur, at discretion of the guide, we may still be forced to stop and return. In this case you won’t be refunded. Otherwise you will be required to follow instructions (i.e. dismounting your bike or rest a while) in order to proceed. Paypal requires a commission (around 3%), hence all refunds related to this kind of transactions will be reduced accordingly.
- Over night tours or excursions -
Generally, to reserve the tour we require a deposit of 30% of the entire cost per participant; the balance for your tour is due 30 days before departure. AS THE TRIPS CONFIRMATION DEPENDS ON THE FINAL NUMBER ALL DEPOSITS ARE FINAL. A confirmation email with pre-departure information material will be sent to you within days of the receipt of your deposit. In case you must cancel your reservation, the cancellation fees are as follows:
90 + days notice: loss of the full deposit;
20 to 30 days notice: full deposit + 50% of final payment;
20 to 0 days notice: 100% of trip price.
You may transfer your trip deposit to another departure in the same year up to 45 days prior to your original departure. If we don't reach the minimum amount of participants required to activate the tour within 30 days from departure, you will be 100% refunded. Again Paypal requires a commission (around 3%), hence all refunds related to this kind of transactions will be reduced accordingly.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACTS OF GOD AND WILL TRY TO REIMBURSE TO THE BEST OF OUR CAPABILITY BUT WE CANNOT CONFIRM A 100% REFUND.
For specific scheduled tour the deposit is NEVER refundable. 30% is non refundable 90 days before the trip. 60 days before the trip no money is refundable.
Privacy Personal information that you provide us is retained for the purpose of planning your experience with us. We do not disclose or provide to others any personal information such as email addresses or credit card numbers other than what is strictly required to complete reservations. You grant NaturalItaly permission to take photographs or make film records of its trips for commercial and promotional use, as well as approve such use by third parties, without financial remuneration.
Cookies No personal information regarding the users is intentionally acquired by the website.
Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are any kind of persistent cookies - i.e. systems for tracing users – used.
The use of session cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and disappear once the browser is closed) is strictly restricted to the transmission of session identifying data (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) which is necessary for safe and efficient site exploration.
The session cookies used on this website avoid the need to use other data processing techniques which could potentially reduce the confidentiality of the users’ navigation of the website and do not permit the acquisition of identifying personal information regarding the user.
