This single day tour starts in Florence where a private van will pick you up for a gorgeous drive through Chianti's gentle landscape to a medieval winery/castle (one of the two we generally work with). An authorized guide will take you on a visit through the cellars and explain the process of wine making. As the cellar tour finishes you will get the chance to taste different wines, olive oil and balsamic vinegard. Just in time for lunch! We will then head to the restaurant where, accompanied by delicious appetizers, we will get to taste gourmet first course samples. After relaxing the van will escort you to Chianti's main town, full of cafès and shops selling typical Tuscan products. The tour ends with a relaxing walk into a picturesque and panoramic village nearby, after which we will escort you back to Florence.

How do I get to the meeting point? - Bus number 17 from Piazza San Marco in the center of Florence, bus stop "Gramsci 3". Bus number 13 from Piazza Stazione, bus stop "Gramsci 3". What do I need to wear? - There is a light walk on some dirt roads with slight inclines; comfortable walking shoes are advised. Price - 100 €/person (includes private transport to the winery, transfer to other sites and back to the meeting point in Florence,  wine and food tasting, authorized tour guide).
